Dove Nourishing Hand Wash

As you know, we never endorse a product on urbanmoms.ca unless it has been tested and approved by our Research and Testing Panel. Well, we sent samples of the new Dove Nourishing Hand Wash out to our panel and it came through the test with flying colours!
As busy moms, we wash our hands many times throughout the day, which can rob our skin of 25% of its moisture at each and every wash. So we were thrilled to have the opportunity for our research panel to test Dove’s new line of hand wash that contains 1/4 active moisturizers and nutrients. Not only the product excited us, but the chance to work with a company like Dove, whose Campaign for Real Beauty and Dove Self-Esteem Fund have been winning awards and the hearts and minds of “real” women and girls!
Our research panel members received new Dove Deep Moisture Nourishing Hand Wash, Dove Cool Moisture Nourishing Hand Wash and Dove Purifying Nourishing Hand Wash. The overall consensus was that these new products come out on the top of the heap when it comes to liquid hand soaps . They certainly live up to their claims to nourish and moisturize your skin while washing, while pleasing the other senses with their texture and scents, as well as the sleek, modern bottle shape and simple-to-operate pump.
And not only moms are talking about this great new product: seems that Dove Nourishing Hand Wash gets the thumbs-up from Dads and kids alike. In fact, many panelists noted that their kids washed their hands more often and spent more time washing with Dove Nourishing Hand Wash than with other soaps (both liquid and bar soaps). Hey, anything that gets the kids washing their hands more and better has got to be a good thing!
But far and away the most striking thing about these hand washes is the fact that they do leave your hands feeling silky smooth – so much so that you don’t have to apply moisturizing lotions or creams after washing…really!.

Great moisturizer, I am fanatical about hand washing (nurse!) and I find that I do not need to use extra hand cream now – the Dove product both cleanses and moisturizes! WOW!

Oh my gosh, the smell of all three of the hand soaps were amazing. A really nice light scent. I took a whiff and thought I was in a spa.

I love all the dove products. I use the dove shampoo and conditioner on my babies hair and mine own. The soap is gentle enough to use on all of the new baby clothes I just bought at: http://www.sandboxcouture.com!

We have always been a DOVE family. Both my husband and son have skin issues and this is the only soap that has worked for everyone in the household. The handwash is great and easy on the hands - especially when we are washing our hands so many times a day!

hands have never been softer being a red head you have lots of skin problems but they seemto go away with dove

Vicky, I saw the big refill bottles (all 3 varieties) of Dove Nourishing Hand Wash at Safeway today, so I imagine they're widely available now. I have 4 small bottles in the house, which EVERYONE loves. Nice to know the large refills are availabe.

I happened to be on the Dove website one day when they were offering free sample bottles of their new handwash. (Alas... that offer is no longer there...) I filled in the online form and rec'd a coupon in the mail for a free bottle. I put it out just before Xmas and used it A LOT during all of the food prep, baking, etc. etc. My two daughters were home from university and they both commented on how nice it smells, how well it works and how great their hands felt. I usually just buy whatever's on sale, but this is one product I will buy again!

I love the Dove handwash! I guess I don't have to go down to the States anymore to buy my favourite handwash, because...well, it's not my favourite anymore. I'm off in search of a giant refill bottle now. Are they on the market yet?

I love this stuff! I find that I wash my hands so often that they actually crack in the winter. Since buying this I haven't had the need to O.D. on hand cream yet. I highly recommend it!

After having the Dove Nourishing hand wash in our house for a couple of weeks, my 19 year old son commented how he liked the Dove because his hangnails were no longer dry and cracked.

I have very dry skin and I wash my hands at least 20 times a day. Using doves hand wash I have noticed has made a wonderful difference to my skin
