FEATURED MOM BUSINESS: ART STUDIO
Art Studio was born out of a need to find a wonderful place for our artistic girls to explore creatively and an earnest suggestion from our then four year old - "mommy, you could teach art here". She gave me both the clarity and the confidence to do this.
Now 6 years into it, the business has grown dramatically from what I call "word of mom". I teach over 70 students a week from ages 3-13 out of my home and through the Toronto District School Board enrichment program.
Side business have developed naturally- I run week long sleepover camps at my cottage, Art Birthday Parties and Workshops for moms who were jealous that the children got all that creative time.
It is so important, I believe, that we all have the opportunity to express ourselves artistically in a quiet contemplative atmosphere as the world continues to celebrate and promote multi-tasking and hyper-stimulation. This is an opportunity to see ourselves and the world around us in a different way.
I love what I do and am grateful everyday for the opportunity I have to share that passion.

Come and explore all mediums including collage, sculpture and mixed media using real artist grade paint and supplies.
