...we ALL knew it was coming...
Britney is on 72-hour mental lockdown. According to People.com, Britney Spears was placed on lockdown for a mental evaluation Friday after the pop star locked herself in a room with one of her children at her L.A. home and refused to hand him over to ex-husband Kevin Federline.
A source told US Weekly that “they had to strap her down like a mental patient and she was going between laughing and hysterics… [it was] a total psychotic breakdown. She just went crazy.”
wow. just wow. i don't even have the words.

Yeah, I'm with everyone else. It's incredibly sad. All I can think about is those poor little boys: and since when did Kevin Federline become the "good" parent? Wow. I hope she can get the help she needs, and soon.

it's too sad - i can't even read about it and have to change the channel when it's on tv. seems a bit too much like anna nicole smith's downward spiral

So sad and simply pathetic. Talk about hitting rock bottom. Who would have thought it could get worse?!

This is the first time I have ever really had empathy for Britney Spears. Honestly, I usually look at stuff like this and laugh. But this...this really bothers me. It is so, so sad, for her and for her kids.
I really, really hope that someone steps in and seriously intervenes. I really, really hope that 2008 brings Britney the help she so desperately needs but can't get for herself.

For some unknown reason I find this incredibly sad...I never have sympathy for Brit-Brit.
I feel sorry for her children. To be locked in a room while she was being psychotic. So freaking sad!
